beyond our own expectations... 2010

Lerato, Cindy and Liz supporting Bafana Bafana at Loftus!

How do we inspire ourselves to achieve beyond our own expectations?

I believe Former President Nelson Mandela posed a similar question to Francois Pienaar at the time of the 1995 Rugby World Cup . This is a good question to consider as we think about the future. Our common dreams for a better future are now shaped by the success of the World Cup, a stronger spirit of unity and a "yes we can" attitude.

The success of The World Cup leads us all toward asking this question and taking on the challenge. The bar has been raised. We've achieved excellence, we've come together around a common interest, we've created a positive spirit. Each of us should aspire to lend our strength and push the bar a little higher.

Excellence sets people and companies apart from others. At Khuthaza we will continue to inspire women in the industry to aim for excellence and to achieve beyond expectations. 2010 has had an impact on us...has it had an impact on you?

Cornerstone participants show their support for Bafana Bafana

We apologise for the break in delivering this monthly Khuthaza mailing. We have been busy behind the scenes with Cornerstone, Connection and Re a a belana (our 8 month contractor development programmes) and working on several areas of organisational growth. In the past month we've also been watching a great deal of soccer! We will now get back into the habit of sending information on a monthly basis. Over the next few weeks (Women's Month) we will also include some additional mailings to highlight many of our activities in the first half of the year and to say thank you to our partners and sponsors.

We will also be offering a number of upcoming courses on an "open registration basis", meaning anyone is welcome to register and attend. We are offering an Introduction to Project Management next week - details below - and will soon share with you additional courses and activities.
